Discover our Surroundings

A soulful corner in the Basque natural countryside

Our rural hotel is located on the foothills of Mount Urko, in the quiet village of Mallabia (Bizkaia), is a traditional Basque farmhouse surrounded by unspoiled nature. Mountains, streams, centuries-old farmhouses and a rich native fauna—cows, sheep, horses, donkeys and local birds—bring life to an environment that conveys calm, authenticity and beauty.

The access already anticipates the experience: A paved road flanked by trees and a winding river, where the green hues of the Basque landscape accompany you until you reach our farmhouse. And at the end of the journey, the reward: Stunning views that include some of the most emblematic mountains of the Basque Country, such as Mount Oiz, Urko, Amboto and, on clear days, even the Gorbea.

A place designed to enable disconnection, breathe pure air and let yourself be carried away by the magic of the natural and the authentic
